End Of Year Show
For this project we are creating an exhibition for the third year Interior design students inside a marquee which will be located at Tuke Lawn, Regent's University, London.There is six students, and our main ambition is to create a tailored made structure for them.
Individual Idea
We started off this project by individual Idea generation. Creating models in 1:5 Scale which had to consist of trestles, and make joints 1:1 scale. With our individual work we gathered as a group to present and discuss our thoughts.
Our main goal with this exhibition was to create an tailored made structure for each students. Create a structure that would represent their individual work the best.

Group Discussion
After discussing and brain-storming as a group we picked out different elements from each individual Ideas, to then connect them. From this we came up with our Idea of the final exhibition structure, which we created in 1:5 Scale.
The final layout we created represents our vision of a tailored made structure. Each student is given a structure contained of three tables, as well as a part of the triangle structure in the middle of the space, to exhibit work. Both the table structures and the triangle structures are able to change angle.

Joint testing 1:1 Scale
After discussing our Individual Ideas as a group, we came up with our final structure. From this we divided work for each person, and one of my tasks was to develop and test joints for the structure.

Developing the joint created for the Pirate Castle Exhibition. Experimenting and making sure that the joint is not to heavy with other elements of structure.
From development we figured out a way of securing the structure more, which is to create bolts to connect the table top to the other wood piece of the joint. This was a very successful choice.
Triangle structure - development
Another task of mine for this project was to develop the triangle structure form and test joints. For this me and my colleague created a frame made of to panels, connected by a hinge joint.
